8am Welcome: Check In and Welcome all with local pastries and coffee as we introduce each other, bike brief and discuss our ride and experiences.
Scenic Cycling: Choose your ride: Both casual or fast-paced rides are offered! Enjoy snacks and hydration at farm stops along the way.
Experiences: This morning, we set out on a breathtaking ride along the Portland coastline, where history, maritime charm, and ocean views collide. Our route takes us past four of Maine’s most iconic and nostalgic lighthouses, each with its own story and stunning setting:
Portland Head Light – Maine’s oldest and most photographed lighthouse, perched majestically at Fort Williams Park.
Twam Island Ledge Light – visible just offshore, standing as a sentinel in Casco Bay.
Spring Point Ledge Light – a unique sparkplug-style lighthouse you can walk right up to on a breakwater.
Bug Light (Portland Breakwater Light) – a charming and compact beacon offering sweeping views of Portland Harbor.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic, salty sea air, and charming neighborhoods that blend history with New England coastal charm. This ride is as much about soaking in the scenery as it is about the spin.
We’ll finish our morning with a chance to unwind at a local café or brewery near the waterfront before saying our goodbyes—full of memories and a camera roll of classic Maine moments.
