Our Cape Cod Weekend Getaway offers a cycling adventure filled with coastal charm and culinary delights. This tour is the perfect blend of scenic exploration, relaxation, and a feast of fresh, local flavors. Designed for cycling enthusiasts, the route features a mix of scenic, mostly flat to rolling coastal rides with stops at local destinations, seafood markets, and vistas. For food lovers, savor the freshest seafood, including lobster, little-neck clams and more, paired with award-winning local beers & wines. Explore iconic landmarks like the Cape Cod National Seashore, and picturesque beaches, while enjoying a curated farm-to-fork dinner that celebrates Cape Cod’s culinary heritage.

What to Expect

  • Scenic Coastal Rides: Pedal through Cape Cod’s charming landscapes, from serene coastal villages and picturesque beaches to iconic landmarks like Nauset Lighthouse and the Cape Cod National Seashore.

  • Farm-to-Fork Delights: Relish the region’s fresh, local flavors with stops at local farms, seafood markets, and lavender fields, savoring everything from lobster rolls to farm-fresh vegetables and herbs.

  • Unique Experiences: Visit a local fish market to watch the daily catch, indulge in a ‘lobster-to-roll’ experience. Learn about our nation’s only National Sea Shore and its heritage and history.

  • Signature Farm Dinner: Savor a curated farm-to-fork dinner highlighting Cape Cod’s finest seasonal ingredients and culinary heritage.

Rediscover the pristine waters of the Cape Cod National Seashore and Salt Pond on our journey through the Cape.

  • Meeting Location:
    Hyannis Port Hy-Line Charters
    220 Ocean St, Hyannis, MA 02601

    Meeting Time:
    7:30 am (outside the ticket office next to the boat ramp). You will see our Farm to Fork Signs. (Pack a day bag with anything you would like to access during your ride-shoes, jackets, sunblock..) We will hold for you in the transit van and it will be available to you throughout the day.

    8:00 Boat Departs. On the Boat we will welcome our riders, introduce our team and learn a little history of Martha’s Vineyard before we review todays ride. Enjoy Coffee and pastries on the boat as we take in the 360 panaorama during this 60 minute ferry ride. Arrival to Martha’s Vineyard 8:55am.

    9:20: Ride Begins

    Morning Glory Farm – Beloved farmstand with fresh produce and baked goods

    Orange Peel Bakery – Wood-fired treats in a welcoming community setting

    Gay Head Lighthouse – Iconic views at the westernmost tip of the island

    Menemsha Bike Ferry – A short, scenic ride across the inlet

    Menemsha Beach – Unique Lunch experience with Native Hosts of Martha’s Vineyard - Enjoy fresh-caught fish of the day, prepared with local ingredients and traditional island seasonings rooted in native culture

    Native Earth Teaching Farm – Meet Rebecca Randall Gilbert, author of Weedy Wisdom; Learn about foraging wild plants, experience indigo dyeing, and visit baby goats and garlic fields

    Final Stop: Celebratory Ice Cream in Oak Bluffs before boarding the ferry at 3:35 back to the Ferry at 3:35 back to Hyannis

    Ride: 9am-12:30

    Cycling: Experience: A 30ish mile ride with snacks and hydration at beach stops along the way.

    Experiences:

    • Ride through the Orleans and Brewster bayside beach region is an immersive exploration of the local maritime treasures.

    • Learn about the fascinating world of tides, The National Seashore and Salt Ponds

    • End the bike ride with a refreshing stop at Hog Island Beer Company for a taste of their locally crafted brews or at Hot Chocolate Sparrow for an Ice-cream or chocolate Delight

    • Enjoy the afternoon to enjoy lunch on your own and explore. Remember to save room for our fabulous Welcome Dinner at 6pm in Brewster.

    Manomy WildLife Refuge – A quick pause for photo ops, history of the Refuge

    Rock Harbor – Iconic tidal inlet with fishing boats and weathered docks

    Historic backroads – Quaint cottages, cranberry bogs, and classic Cape charm

    Farewell Lunch at the Chatham Pier – 12:30 PM
    Join us waterside for a celebratory lunch as we reflect on a weekend well spent. Fresh local fare, crisp drinks, and new friendships served with a view.
