  • How does a Self-Guided Tour work?

Our Self-Guided Tours give you the freedom to ride at your own pace while still enjoying the signature Farm to Fork experience — beautiful roads, delicious farm-fresh food, and thoughtfully curated stops.

What type of bike do I need?

    Most routes are designed for:

    🚲 Road bikes
    🚲 Hybrid bikes
    🚲 E-bikes (welcome!)

If gravel sections exist, we will note them in advance. Riders are responsible for ensuring their bike is safe and road-ready.

Is support provided on the route?

Self-Guided Tours do not include on-road SAG or mechanical support. Please ride prepared with:

    ✔ A charged phone
✔ Basic repair kit & spare tube
    ✔ Water bottles
    ✔ Bike lights
    ✔ Weather-appropriate layers

And always let someone know your planned route & timing.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Self-Guided Tours are flexible — you may ride when conditions are safe and comfortable for you within the seasonal availability window.

If severe weather is expected, please prioritize safety and adjust your plans as needed.

    What should I bring?

    We recommend:

    • Helmet (required)

    • Bike in good working condition

    • Water & snacks

    • Sunscreen & sunglasses

    • ID & payment method

    • Your wristband with tabs

    • Phone with downloaded route

    • A sense of adventure 🙂

    Are kids allowed?

    Yes — families are welcome!
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and should be capable of safely completing the selected distance.

    Are e-bikes allowed?

Yes! E-bikes are welcome according to local regulations. Please ensure your battery range can support the full route distance.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Yes. Helmets are required for all riders.

What are the expectations for rider safety?

    All riders must:

    ✔ Follow local traffic laws
✔ Ride single file where appropriate
    ✔ Use hand signals
✔ Be courteous to drivers, other riders, and pedestrians
✔ Respect farms, staff, and property

You ride at your own risk — please be smart & safe.

    Do the farms have restrooms?

Some do, but not all. We encourage riders to plan ahead and use restrooms at your start location or participating farms when available — and always refrain from “nature breaks” near crops or buildings.

    Can I ride with friends?

Of course — the more the merrier! You may ride solo or with a group.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Many of our farm partners offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Availability varies by location. If you have specific concerns, please reach out in advance so we can help guide you.

    Refunds & Transfers

Self-Guided registrations are generally non-refundable, but may be transferable depending on timing. Please refer to your registration confirmation for details or email us for help.

Who do I contact if I have questions?
