Friday 25 Sept - Starting meeting point will be at Argyle Cheese Farmer in Hudson Falls, NY. We’ll ride South from the farm down to historic Schuylerville on a scenic loop featuring lots of Hudson River scenery and a stretch along the peaceful Champlain Canal Trail. The route involves very little climbing—averaging only 27 feet per mile—and highlights notable stops including the Saratoga Monument and the Champlain Canal Region Gateway Visitor Center. Upon returning to Argyle Cheese Farmer, enjoy a relaxing indoor lunch and local cheese tasting right at the farm store. Ride distance 34.4 miles
Saturday 26 Sept - Meet point will be at Saratoga National Historic Battlefield "The turning point of the Revolutionary War". We will be taking a ride through History as we make stops along the loop road to learn & listen to a Historian from the National Historic Park service. We then take a scenic ride past thoroughbred horse farms in the Stillwater & Schuylerville local countryside, on our way to a unique farm for an interactive visit & opportunity to pick our own herbs & vegetables at 9 miles East farm, to be used as ingredients in our group dinner that evening. Ride distance estimate 34 miles
Sunday 27 Sept - Meet point will be at The Hub in Brant Lake, NY. A great place in the Adirondack Park to meet up for bike rides, brews, food, music and great hang-out times. We will take a three or four lakes (Brant, Loon, Friends, Schroon) scenic ride through the area plus a curious stop and walk at Natural Stone Bridge & Caves. If we are truly lucky, we will see a Giant Chicken along our ride today. Post ride lunch and weekend farewell will be at the Hub. Ride distance estimate 31 to 38 miles
Signature Farm Dinner: Enjoy a curated farm-to-table dinner on Saturday 26, September at 9 Miles East Restaurant & Cafe in Saratoga Springs. www.9mileseast.com/
