Camden, Maine hosts this Weekend Getaway experience with all the warmth of a small coastal town, where boutique shops, cafés, and artisan makers line its historic streets. Its laid-back breweries and harbor front energy create the perfect backdrop for riders to unwind, explore, and savor the local flavor.

    8:30 am Introductions, The weekend ahead, Bike Brief

    9:00 am: Ride begins:

    Distance: 45 Miles, 2481 Elevation

    Ride: 9:00-12:30 noon. On our first day, Farm to Fork offers a truly unique experience as we combine our ride with our friends—an extraordinary group of Penobscot Indigenous hosts who will ride alongside us across beautiful quiet roads of Islesboro and Camden, Maine, sharing stories of the land and offering a rare chance to experience the island through their eyes. We end the ride together at a stunning blueberry orchard, celebrating our first day on the land.

    12:30pm arrival at Blueberry Farm, lunch at the farm. This last stop includes tour of the farm, distillery and tasting.

    2:00pm: After the tour, participants can choose to from options:

    • Complete the loop by bike with a short mostly downhill 7 miles back to the start or be escorted by van back to the start.

    • Those looking to add a few more miles to their day (optional) will be provided with additional pre-loaded routes leaving right from the farm ending back to the starting point. (non supported)

    • Those looking for a change of activity we offer a 5 mile hike (2 hrs) with our local guide with return back to the start point. (optional).

    • The rest of the day on your own.

  • Day 2: Coastal Maine connects on the land of the Penobscots People.

    8:00 am: Meeting Point: Released 30 days prior to tour. Light local pastries and coffee.

    8:30am: Bike brief and day ahead

    8:45am Ride begins: On day two, we continue our experience with Penobscot Indigenous hosts as we ride on the mainland, passing through beautiful places like Belfast and neighboring coastal towns. Today, we carry with us the themes and teachings shared on day one and begin to see our appreciation for this land through our new set of eyes. We end our ride at the nearby reclaimed land—Niweskok’s rematriated farm.

    12:30: Lunch. Once we arrive at the farm, our hosts will lead us on a guided walk in the woods to show how their ancestors lived with the land, nourished themselves from it, and kept it alive through traditional stewardship. We conclude with a warm, traditional Penobscot-inspired lunch—an unforgettable blend of cycling, culture, and connection.

    2:00pm: After the tour, participants can choose to from options:

    • Complete the short loop by bike back to the start or be escorted by van back to the start.

    • Those looking to add a few more miles to their day (optional) will be provided with additional pre-loaded routes leaving right from the farm ending back to the starting point. (Non-supported)

    • Those looking for a change of activity we offer a differnt 5 mile hike (2 hrs) with our local guide with return back to the start point. (optional).

  • Day 3:

    7:45am: Meeting Point: Camden Harbor Public Landing, Camden, ME 04843

    8:15am: aboard the ferry: 8:30 ferry departs with all passengers. All overnight bags, day bags and bike will be loaded and transported directly to the overnight hotel.

    10:00 am: Arrive to Harborside.

    10:30: Ride Begins: This scenic coastal loop winds from the village of Blue Hill through the quiet backroads of Sedgwick and into the rolling farmland and water views of Brooksville. Riders enjoy a mix of gentle climbs, shaded forests, and sweeping glimpses of Blue Hill Bay, with charming coastal villages and quiet farmlands and historic orchards. Its classic Maine landscapes throughout the peaceful, beautifully varied showcasing the best of the Blue Hill Peninsula.

    3:00pm: Aarrive to hotel in Castine, Maine. All luggage and personal belongings will be ready for you in your room. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore on your own. Optional excursions to the beach and historic lighthouse tour will be available for those wanting to stay active

    7:00pm: Gourmet Dinner. Tonight we will all gather for a celebratory meal with local sourced meal and wine overlooking the beautiful sunset.

    8:15 Ride Begins : Deer Island - This coastal loop on Deer Isle guides us along quiet island roads, past working lobster wharfs, small family farms, and the rocky coves that define Maine’s wild beauty. Gentle rollers, shady spruce forests, and salty sea breezes frame the journey, while the island’s artisan spirit—craft studios, local makers, and fresh-from-the-water flavors—creates our perfect rest stop along the way.


    12:00: Arrive at Boat Dock lobster lunch with return back to Camden


    1:30 farewell- Enjoy the rest of the weekend as the Blueberry festival comes alive!

This experience involves three days of guided riding, gourmet food, and unique farm visits, culminating in the heart of the Blueberry Festival starting at the end of our tour . This getaway is usually reserved for smaller group sizes of 30 or fewer.

FAQ:

  • At registration, you will be asked to provide any dietary restrictions or preferences, including vegan, vegetarian, and allergy-related needs. We offer a wide range of menu options across all our tours and will refine menus closer to the event to ensure accommodations for all guests.

  • Support SAG iswith us the whole time to assist with day bags, snacks, hydration and on-road needs,

    We will provide you with a day back on the first day that you can use to pack your personal items and place in our secure van daily. \

    Participants are encouraged to bring daily change of comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing for daily post ride experiences.

  • Bikes, Lodging, and Transportation are NOT included in the general pricing package. We recommend:

    • Lodging accommodations in the Camden or Rockport areas, offering easy access to the start of each day’s rides and an ideal location for exploring scenic drives and local attractions.

    • NOTE: Farm to Fork will provide 1 night Premium island hotel accomodations (double person occupancy)

    • Please refer to the enhancements for available upgrades to the General Package.

  • All Participants:

    1 Night Lodging is included for ALL registrants This is scheduled for Friday July 31, 2026 at the Castine Inn .

    For the remaining nights, we recommend finding lodging in the Camden area. We will all be departing from the Camden Port on Friday July 31, 2026 at 7am, by ferry to Castine for the last 2 days of riding, and returning back to Camden Port on Saturday (approx 1:30 pm) following the last ride on Deer Island
